SHIP DESIGN GROUP (SDG) was established in 1994 by unifying a group of Romanian companies and specialists in shipbuilding.
HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS
| 1994 – | Establishment, unifying a group of Romanian companies and specialists in shipbuilding. |
| 2000 – | Central Industry Group Holland becomes majority shareholder and the company changed its name to Vuyk Ship Design Galati. |
| 2004 – | The company comes back under Romanian Ownership and changed back to the former name of Ship Design Group. |
| 2018 – | The Company achieved a new stage of development by moving in a new and larger office building, allowing an increase of the yearly design capacity to up to 300.000 M/H. |
